In the midst of Google’s “Panda Revolution” a lot of SEO consultants, specialists, and gurus found their life’s work falling to pieces.  Vast numbers of websites effectively disappeared from search results and businesses were left in disarray.  Well maybe it wasn’t quite that dramatic, but things were definitely shaken up.  The reason?  People were writing content and developing web pages for search engines and not for people.  Eventually Google had enough and unleashed the “Panda” algorithmic updates to bring balance to the SEO force. If you’ve done any serious searching under the blog category in Google, you’ll notice that only 1 in 10 or so blogs look good.  So many are walls of text, have no headings, no images, and make no attempt at creating aesthetic appeal.   And these are the ones that are trying to provide quality blog content, not the spammers where every sentence is a keyword link to a junk page.  It amazes me how many organizations and individuals are not using their blog as a part of their creative marketing strategy. Time to mow the lawn | Keeping Up With Your Blog Calendar

I’ve been watching the grass grow around the house and thinking to myself that I need to get to it soon. Every day it grows imperceptibly longer, but the net effect of a week’s procrastination is that it will now take me much longer to mow than normal.
